What customers say?

“ Was there for breakfast club, service was fast although a couple of minor errors but nothing really to moan about would happily go back, a little on the high side for price and would have liked toast I would recommend this place to anyone. ”

“ Indoor and outdoor seating area. Food is simple and very good quality. Ordering can be a bit hmm.. you make orders at a window then wait outside for them to give you a shout. Although there are seating areas it’s all technically take away. ”

- Kenny Marshall -

“ Charming and helpful service, good coffee and a very tasty sausage & egg breakfast roll. Plenty of cold drinks, some slices & snacks, filled rolls to take away for lunch. Orkney icecream, of course. Conveniently across from the ferry terminal, and not far from the centre of town (not much is!). Open Sunday morning (ditto). ”

- Margaret -

“ Lovely strong coffee, tasty tray bakes, other food looked lovely, but we just wanted coffee & a wee seat, so trued the tray bake & very nice indeed. Outdoor seating watching the sea. ”

- Sharon Dempster -

“ What a find. Had a BLT, bloomin lovely!! Met Julia, lovely lady. This is our first trip to Orkney & we have already booked again for next year. We will definitely be coming back here. Superb. ”

- Paul Rice -

“ Super delicious Orkney crab rolls. A small cafe with outdoor seating and serves coffee and sandwiches. We came with a tour and our guide highly recommended the crab rolls. We’re glad that we had tried it. Very yummy. ”

- Wenyi Lee Stones -

“ The coffee and cake was lovely and the owners came out to say hi and meet our Huskies. They even opened on the most stormy day of our stay and we had coffee to warm us up after a very bracing walk on the island. ”

- Julie Faith McMurray -

“ This cafe was on my 'must do' list. I'm not disappointed. I chose the creamy smoked seafood chowder with toasted sourdough bread from the specials board. It was chunky, tasty and super filling. ”
